Four Acts advance from second semi of France’s Destination Eurovision!

Tonight France continued in their quest to find a singer and song for Eurovision 2018. The second group of nine hopefuls competing in Destination Eurovision took to the stage, in a bid to secure one of the four places in next week’s final.The semi saw the singers perform short covers of existing songs followed up with a rendition of the song the wish to sing at Eurovision. The international juries first awarded their six favourite songs points ranging from (12, 10, 8, 6, 4 and 2), this was followed by the votes from the three french jurors (Amir, Christophe and Isabelle). The four acts who qualified from this Semi Final are:

 

1. Madame Monsieur- ‘Mercy’ 12, 10, 8, 2, 12, 12 (Total- 56 points)

2. Max Cinnamon- ‘Ailleurs’ 10, 8, 10, 10, 10, 6 (Total- 54 points)

3. Nassi- ‘Reve De Gamin’ 8, 6, 12, 12, 4, 4 (Total- 46 points)

4. Igit- ‘Lisboa Jerusalem’ 4, 12, 6, 6, 8, 10 (Total- 46 points)

The remaining five acts have been eliminated:

5. Sweem- ‘La-Haut’ 0, 4, 0, 8, 6, 8 (Total- 26 points)

6. Sarah Caillibot- ‘Tu Me Manques’ 6, 2, 2, 0, 0, 0 (Total- 10 points)

7. June the Girl- ‘Same’ 0, 0, 4, 0, 2, 2, (Total- 8 points)

8. Jane Constance- ‘Un Jour J’ai Reve’ 2, 0, 0, 4, 0, 0 (Total- 6 points)

9. Lucie- ‘My World’ 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, (Total- 0 points)

 

 

 

These four successful acts will join the four qualifiers from last week Louka, Malo’, Emmy Liyana and Lisandro Cuxi. The full line up for next week’s final is below.
