Four Acts advance from first semi of France’s Destination Eurovision!

Tonight France began their quest to find a singer and song for Eurovision 2018. The first nine acts competing in Destination Eurovision took to the stage, but only four could advance to the grand final which will take place in a fortnight’s time. The semi saw the singers perform short covers of existing songs followed up with a rendition of the song the wish to sing at Eurovision. The international juries first awarded their six favourite songs points ranging from (12, 10, 8, 6, 4 and 2), this was followed by the votes from the three french jurors (Amir, Christophe and Isabelle). The four acts who qualified from this Semi Final are:

1. Lisandro Cuxi- ‘Eva’ 10, 12, 12, 10, 10, 12 (Total- 66 points)

2. Emmy Liyana- ‘OK ou KO’ 12, 10, 8, 6, 6, 8 (Total- 50 points)

3. Malo’- ‘Ciao’ 8, 6, 6, 12, 12, 2 (Total- 46 points)

4. Louka- ‘Mamma Mia’ 6, 4, 4, 2, 4, 10 (Total- 30 points)

The remaining five acts have been eliminated:

5. Ehla- ‘J’ai Crue’ 4, 2, 2, 8, 8, 4 (Total- 28 points)

6. Noee- ‘L’un Pres de L’autre’ 2, 8, 10, 0, 0, 6 (Total- 26 points)

7. Masoe- ‘Paradis’ 0, 0, 0, 4, 2, 0 (Total- 6 points)

8. Pheno Men- ‘Jamais Sans Toi’ 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 (Total- 0 points)

 

9. Enea- ‘I’ll Be There’ 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 (Total- 0 points)

 

The remaining nine acts competing in next week’s second semi final are below. Four more acts will join the four qualifiers from this week in the grand final on 27 January.
