Austria breaks its Eurovision silence and today announced that they will be represented by singer Cesar Sampson at Eurovision 2018.
In addition to revealing Cesar as the artist the Austrian broadcaster ORF has also announced that we can expect the song to debut in February. It has been penned by Boris Milanov and Sebastian Arman, the team behind Poli Genova’s 2011 song ‘Na Inat’.
Cesar too has worked with Bulgarian singer Poli Genova in the past having sung backing vocals for her when she returned to the Eurovision stage in 2016 with top 5 finishing song ‘If Love Was a Crime’. He is also part of the production team Symphonix International who produced the 2017 Serbian song ‘In Too Deep’ as well as Macedonia’s ‘Dance Alone’.
Can Cesar improve on Nathan Trent’s 17th place finish in 2017? We patiently wait for Cesar’s song reveal!
