Melfest 2018 Artists and Song Titles Revealed!

There have been a number of acts rumoured to be competing in the Swedish Eurovision selection show Melodifestivalen in the past few weeks. But it was until today when broadcaster SVT announced the full list of participants and song titles that we knew for sure. Let’s check out the list.

Semi Final 1- 3 Feb-

  • Renaida- ‘All the Feels’
  • Benjamin Ingrosso- ‘Dance You Off’
  • Edward Blom- ‘Livet på en Pinne’
  • John Lundvik- ‘My Turn’
  • Kikki Danielsson- ‘Osby Tennessee’
  • Sigrid Bernson- ‘Patrick Swayze’
  • Kamferdrops- ‘Solen Levar Var Hos Dig’

Semi Final 2- 10 Feb- Gothenburg

  • Ida Reddig- ‘Alting Son Vi Sa’
  • Jonas Gardell- ‘Det Finns en vag’
  • Margaret- ‘In My Cabana’
  • Liamoo- ‘Last Breath’
  • Samir and Viktor- ‘Shuffla’

Semi Final 3- 17 Feb- Malmo

  • Martin Algrem- ‘A Bitter Lullaby’
  • Dotter- ‘Cry’

  • Mendez- ‘Everyday’
  • Jessica Andersson- ‘Party Voice’
  • Barbi Escobar- ‘Stark’
  • Kalle Moreas and Orsa Spellman- ‘Min Dröm’

Semi Final 4- 24 Feb- Ornskoldsvik

  • Felicia Olsson- ‘Break That Chain’
  • Felix Sandman- ‘Every Single Day’
  • Mariette- ‘For you’
  • Rolandz- ‘Fuldans’
  • Emmi Christensen- ‘Icarus’
  • Elias Ebbas- ‘Mitt Paradis’
  • Olivia- ‘Never Learn’

Two songs from each Semi Final will qualify for the Grand Final on 10 March while two further songs from each Semi Final will be given a second chance to qualify for the final in the Second Chance Show on 3 March. The songs have not yet been released but SVT usually debut a one minute snippet the week before the semi final and air it in full for the first time at the live shows.
