Israel are well and truly on their way to selecting their Eurovision 2018 artist! Israel’s Rising Star will choose the act for Eurovision 2018 and it aired its fourth show last night. The show has added another six acts to the next round of the contest. Read on to find out who made it…As always to get a place in the second round contestants must receive a total of 70%+ from the judges. The fourth episode saw six more acts join the 14 who progressed from the previous three episodes; Jonathan Mergui, Netta Barzilai, Jaki Gaforov, Adva Omer, Chen Aharoni, Gal Yaakoni, Hagar Yefet, Mor Karbasi, Riki Ben Ari, Jose Steinberg, Tslil Goldman, Rinat Bar, Eden Meiri and Shir Baruch.
The new acts to qualify from this fourth episode are:
Yafit Casay (95%)
Ravit Batashvili (86%)
Noa Bell (82%)
Yosi Pitusi (81%)
Shir Zarfati (72%)
The Choice (63%)*
Although band the Choice only received 63% from the judges (falling short of the 70% needed to qualify) the presenters used their veto which meant they progress to the next stage.
