Eurovision 2017 has picked up pace this week. Not only have participating countries been announcing their acts, songs and selection shows been taking place, we got the official hand over of host city from Stochkolm to Kiev, the semi final allocation draw, but that’s not all.
This week Ukrainian broadcaster NTU revealed the branding for Eurovision 2017. It will be a red beaded necklace on a blue background which is evocative of the Eurovision 2017 slogan which was also unveiled this week as being ‘Celebrate Diversity’.
Perhaps most exciting of all though, is that we were treated today to a sneak peek of the stage design for the upcoming shows in Kiev. The stage has been designed by the mastermind behind the stage concepts for Eurovision 2011, 2012 and 2015, Florian Wieder. The 2017 design is supposed to represent Ukraine being at the centre of Europe for the 2017 Contest.
