It’s NAVI BAND for Belarus!


belarus eurovision 2017Tonight saw Belarus stage their 2017 Eurovision selection show. Thirteen acts competed for the honour and it was NAVI BAND whose song ‘Historyja majho žyccia (Story of My Life)’ came out on top.

In a show hosted by Olga Ryzhikova and former Belorussian Eurovision representative and ‘Cheesecake’ lover TEO, NAVI BAND was crowned the winner of Belarus’ selection show and will go on to represent the nation in Kiev in 2017.

NAVI triumphed over the twelve other acts including PROvokatsiya who topped the televote. The full results are listed below:

Also performing on the night were guest singers Shir, Alek Hit and past Eurovision singers TEO who sang new track ‘Say Me Hello’, Uzari who performed ‘Time’ without Maimuna and 2016 representative Ivan who again didn’t get to perform naked.

Belarus joins Albania and Georgia as the only three nations so far to have picked their Eurovision 2017 song. In addition to this, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Greece, The Netherlands, Macedonia, Montenegro, Ireland, Armenia, Austria and Cyprus have also chosen their artist but we await details of their song choices.
