Hungarian Eurovision national selection show A Dal will kick off in a week’s time but this week not only one but two acts have been forced to withdraw from the contest to be replaced by other artists.
Earlier this week we revealed how Jetlag were forced to withdraw due to an inability to come to a scheduling agreement with broadcasters. As a result their song ‘Keresem a bajt’ was out and instead was replaced by ‘Dust in the Wind’ by Chase.
Now a second act has been forced to withdraw. Szabyest’s song ‘Szerelem kell’ had been revealed to have been released before the deadline of 1st September 2016 and therefore was no longer eligible to compete at Eurovision as per the rules set out by the EBU. This song has also been replaced this time by Rocktenors who will sing ‘Ősz’.
