The Armenian Eurovision selection show Depi Evratesil continued last night, staging its first semi final and announcing the four acts that will battle it out in the second semi final next weekend.
The four acts making it through were: Marta, Artsvik, Egine and Syuzanna Melqonyan. While judges Aram MP3 and Iveta Mukuchyan lost their remaining acts Lucy and Vahe Aleksanyan respectively when they finished in the bottom two of a combined jury and televote.
Anush’s contestant Marta impressed with her rendition of Beyonce’s ‘Naughty Girl’ and topped the leaderboard with 97 points, miles ahead of her nearest rival. In second place was Essai’s artist Artsvik who received a total of 71 points following his performance of ‘Hurt’. The remaining two slots went to Syuzanna Melqonyan (Team Inga) and Egine (Team Hayko) who sang ‘Je suis malade’ and ‘A Little Party Never Killed Nobody’ respectively.
