Hungary’s selection show A Dal has given us some quality acts over the past few years. This has included Andras Kallay Saunders, BYEAlex, Boggie and last year Freddie. The Hungarian broadcaster MTV has announced that A Dal will continue to be the format for the Hungarian national selection for Eurovision 2017.
The show will be hosted by Hungarian TV personalities Csilla Tatár and Levente Harsányi. The final of A Dal will take place on 18th February 2017, however the broadcaster has yet to confirm if there will be the usual two pre-qualifying semi final rounds as has been the case in previous years.
We will have to wait a little bit longer before we hear the songs and find out which artists will be competing in A Dal 2017, however not too long. The two presenters will host a press conference next week (8th December) to let us know which artists will compete, the songs they will sing and also the jury judging panel. Add that date to your diary and check back with us next week for the big reveal!
