Armenia’s Eurovision 2017 selection show Depi Evratesil continued this weekend with the third stage: One of the Two.
Gemma Abbey who represented the United Kingdom as part of group Jemini has been convicted of fraud. The singer who came in last place in 2003 with ‘Cry Baby’ (receiving nul points), has been found guilty of claiming up to £52,000 in benefits she was not entitled to.
Earlier this month Finnish broadcaster YLE revealed that they would be scaling down their Eurovision selection show UMK in 2017. They have got rid of the semi finals and instead ten acts will compete in the final which will be held on 28th January. Today YLE revealed those ten acts and their songs! Read on to listen to them.
This year it is the turn of broadcaster RTBF to choose the Belgian Eurovision entry. Earlier this week they unveiled that it will be Ellie Delvaux a.k.a. Blanche who will follow in the footsteps of performers like Laura Tesoro and Loic Nottet and represent Belgium on the Eurovision stage.
The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia are the latest country to announce their intentions for Eurovision 2017. The national broadcaster Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) announced that their 2017 representative will be singer Jana Burceska.
