Argo Follow Up ‘Utopian Land’ with ‘Pame’

Argo Greece Eurovision 2016Greece’s 2016 Eurovision representatives failed to impress at Eurovision, giving Greece their worst ever result. Nonetheless, Argo (formerly Europond) are back with a follow up song to their Eurovision entry ‘Utopian Land’.

The new song is entitled ‘Pame’ which is Greek for ‘Let’s Go’ and utilises electro beats, echo autotuned vocals and very much focussed on the female vocalist, rather than the female/male balance we got in ‘Utopian Land’. The song has a great energy but it sounds quite dated. It has echoes of a really bad dance floor hit from the 90s. Listen for yourself and make up your own mind.
