  1. 40 – I wanted the Dutch to win more. I like RLAP, but I’ve always found it to be overrated by Eurovision fans.
39 – I don’t think there is anything special about the Bosnian entry from this year. Wouldn’t have been surprised if it qualified, but wasn’t surprised they went home early.
38 – Better than ‘Waterline’. Vocals were not the best, but the performance was one of the stand-outs of 2011. In the end, not that much of a jokey act.
37 – Slated by the juries, loved by the public (of course). I’d give it a 6/10. Never disliked it.
36 – Went off it during the contest, but like it enough to put it in my top twenty of the year.
    35 – A grower on me. A very fine performance, a superb voice – should’ve won really.
34 – I’m surprised this is in your list — dull and unimpressive — at least the staging and outfit was. I can tolerate the song.
33 – Good song, good voice. Ukraine are pretty good at that aren’t they.
32 – My winner from 2007, and easily the best Belarus have ever sent. Loved the performance, still enjoy it now. Slick stuff.
31 – Superb. Terribly underrated, their rehearsals impressed pretty much everybody, and a top-ten finish was highly deserved. Fun, confident, energetic… a shame it opened the final – later on in the running order and it may have done better. Deserved more public votes – the juries (for a change) saw the quality.
