Bosnian singer Deen, who performed with singer Dalal, rapper Jala and Croatian cellist Ana Rucner at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, will support Joss Stone on her upcoming world tour. The Bosnian entry finished in eleventh in their semi final of Eurovision with their song ‘Ljubav je’ and therefore narrowly missed out on making it to the final.
Fuad Backović who performs under the stage name Deen will provide support for Joss Stone when she performs at Sarajevo’s National Theatre on Thursday 15th September.
Joss Stone burst onto the world music scene in 2003 with the release of her debut album ‘The Soul Sessions’ spawning hits including covers of ‘Fell In Love With A Boy’ and ‘Super Duper Love’. Stone followed this up with ‘Mind Body and Soul’ in 2005, scoring a top 10 hit with lead single ‘You Had Me’. More recently Joss has released a new album ‘Water For Your Soul’ in 2015 and embarked on a world tour in March 2016. The tour features the tagline ‘My mission is to explore and understand the universal language of music in every other country on the planet’. With that in mind, maybe Joss could be persuaded for Eurovision 2017?
