Greece’s 2016 Eurovision representatives failed to impress at Eurovision, giving Greece their worst ever result. Nonetheless, Argo (formerly Europond) are back with a follow up song to their Eurovision entry ‘Utopian Land’.
Following an initmate gig at St Anne’s Cathedral as part of Belfast’s Culture Night last week, Molly Sterling has revealed a music video for song ‘Ghost In My Bedroom’. The video was shot at Mountstewart Estate and Gardens near the town of Newtownabbey, which is a National Trust property and was also used as one of the filming locations for ‘Dracula: Untold’. First vampires, and now ghosts! Spooky!

Latvian singer Justs came to our attention when he represented his country at Eurovision 2016 with ‘Heartbeat’, a song penned by his predecessor Aminata. Off the back of his 15th place finish at Eurovision, the 21 year old has returned with a new single. The song is called ‘Kaut mazliet’ (or ‘a little something’ in English) and is his third single over all following his Eurovision song and single ‘Ko tu dari?’ (‘What Are You Doing?’). Earlier today, 27th September, MTV announced the nominees for this year’s MTV European Music Awards. Big names like Beyonce and Justin Bieber lead the nominations table with five nominations each, but among the nominees for the regional awards includes many familiar faces from this year’s Eurovision contestants and some from previous years as well.
This year we have decided to hold the inaugural Eurovision NI Awards. We will celebrate the good, the bad and the ugly at Eurovision 2016 over 16 categories, as well as presenting the Phoenix Award for Outstanding Contributing to Eurovision. We have chosen the nominees for each category (which are listed below) and we are now asking you to vote for your favourites in each category, with the results being announced in four weeks time on Saturday 22 October.
Loreen, winner of the 2012 Eurovision Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden, has today unveiled new music. The new single is entitled ‘Get Into It’ and is collaborative effort with Paris born DJ Boston Bun. Boston Bun is best know for managing helmeted dance duo Daft Punk and has also set up his own record label Ed Banger Records back in 2003.
