Big Five Countries Draw Their Performing Positions

Amir Barei Eurovision 2016Earlier today the so called Big Five Eurovision nations of France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and Spain learned of the fate of their performance slot for the Eurovision Grand Final 2016.

Hosts Sweden had already their slot a number of weeks ago, opting to have Frans perform ‘If I Were Sorry’ in the ninth slot of the grand final. However today it has been revealed that Amir for France, Jamie-Lee for Germany and Italy’s Francesca Michielin will all perform in the first half of the Grand Final on Saturday. Meanwhile Joe and Jake for the United Kingdom and Barei for Spain will perform ‘You’re Not Alone’ and ‘Say Yay!’ respectively in the second half of the Grand Final.

These six singers will be joined by the 20 songs that qualify from the two semi finals to be held on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th May. The full running order will then be revealed for all competing songs.
