Ireland’s Nicky Byrne tops our Eurovision Poll this week!

Nicky Byrne Ireland Eurovision 2016Our readers have been voting all week for their favourite Eurovision song so far. 22 acts battled it out, but again it was a two horse race between Albania and Ireland. Ireland’s Nicky Byrne however put an end to Albania’s Eneda Tarifa’s reign with his song ‘Sunlight’ which received 47.35%  of the vote, just 32 votes ahead of Albania. Meanwhile third place went to Denmark (1.2%), Ukraine’s Jamala was in fourth with ‘1944’ (1.02%) and Bosnia Herzegovina went up eight places to finish in fifth (0.98%). The highest new entry of the week was UK’s Joe and Jake who finished in seventh.

The full results of the poll are below and don’t forget to vote in this week’s poll which adds eight new songs from Armenia, Estonia, France, Israel, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Romania and Russia. Who will come out on top this week?
