France have been teasing us with a variety of photo clues over the past few weeks as to who their artist will be for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. However earlier today they revealed that it would be dental surgeon turned pop star Amir who would be their choice for this year’s contest.
Amir will sing song ‘J’ai Cherche’, or ‘I Have Been Looking For You’ in English, in the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 14th. As part of the Big Five nations, France doesn’t have to qualify for the Final.
The song co-written by Amir is a modern pop song with a catchy chorus and an electronic beat. He will perform his song live for the first time on the DiCaire Show on 12th March. In the meantime you can check out the lyric video for the song below.
