After three semi final rounds over the past three weeks, Finland’s UMK Eurovision selection show staged its final earlier tonight. The act that will represent Finland at Eurovision 2016 will be: Sandhja!
Freddie has been crowned the winner of A Dal 2016 and will represent Hungary at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with his song ‘Pioneer’. The 25 year old from Budapest has had a long slog in the contest qualifying from a heat round and semi final round. He had his work cut out for him with stiff competition from returning Eurovision act Andras Kallay Saunders who represented Hungary in the 2014 contest.
The Moldovan national selection came to an close with the final of O Melodie Pentru Europa tonight. The winner of the contest was Lidia Isac who won with her song ‘Falling Stars’.
Next weekend will see Sweden deliver their Melodifestivalen Second Chance show whereby the third and fourth place acts from each heat will be given a second chance to make it through to the final the week after. Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s Eurovision Selection, continued tonight with the fourth show live from Galve. Seven acts performed in this heat but there was only two spots in the final and a further two places for them to compete in the Second Chance Show.
Eurovision fans will be spoilt for choice tonight with seven Eurovision selection shows to chose from. Among these shows are three of the Scandinavian nations with Finland and Norway both hosting the final of their national selections and Sweden who will deliver the fourth of their Melodifestivalen shows. All of these shows will kick off at 20:00 CET tonight, but before they do, we reveal who has topped each of the nation’s polls.

Slovenia will host their EMA 2016 Eurovision selection show later tonight. Ahead of their decision, we have asked you who you think will triumph and be crowned as teh Slovenian entry for 2016.
