Belgian hopefuls to take on Eurovision hits in first live show


Belgium Eurovision 2016Belgian hopefuls Astrid Destuyver, Adil Aarab, Tom Frantzis, Laura Tesoro and Amaryllis Uitterlinden will perform former Eurovision hits in the first of three live shows which will air tonight. The performance is designed to show off the vocal talent, style, personality and stage presence of each performer.

The artists will then be judged by international jury members Stijn Kolacny and former Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak. Next week the acts will introduce their own songs, before lines open for the public to vote for their favourite in week 3 when the winner will be announced.

The songs the acts have chosen to sing in tonight’s show are:

Adil Aarab- Johnny Logan’s ‘Hold Me Now’ (Ireland, 1987)

Amaryllis Uitterlinden- Loreen’s ‘Euphoria’ (Sweden, 2012)

Laura Tesoro- Hadise’s “Düm Tek Tek” (Turkey, 2009)

Astrid Destruyer- Sertab’s ‘Everyway That I Can’ (Turkey, 2003)

Tom Frantzis- Loic Nottet’s ‘Rhythm Inside’ (Belgium, 2015)
