Semi Final Two Predictions: Was I Right?

Yesterday, just before the second semi final, I predicted which 10 of the 17 acts competing would make it through to the final of Eurovision on Saturday. Find out how many I predicted correctly below.

Well I didn’t so as well as I had done for semi final one. In fact I only managed to predict six of the ten that would qualify. I was happy to see that Lithuania, Sweden and new favourite Israel made it through, however I don’t think anyone could have predicted we’d be seeing Montenegro, Cyprus and Poland make it through. I also have to say that I didn’t feel as though Ireland would qualify but I was doing my best to be optimistic. Also feel hugely let down by the fact that Iceland didn’t make it through. Did your favourite miss out on a spot in the final? Let us know your thoughts below.

Will Qualify:

Lithuania Monika Linkytė & Vaidas Baumila “This Time”

Ireland Molly Sterling “Playing with Numbers”

Malta Amber “Warrior”

Norway Mørland & Debrah Scarlett “A Monster Like Me”

Israel Nadav Guedj “Golden Boy”

Azerbaijan Elnur Hüseynov “Hour of the Wolf”

Iceland María Ólafs “Unbroken”

Sweden Måns Zelmerlöw “Heroes”

Switzerland Mélanie René “Time to Shine”

Slovenia Maraaya “Here for You”

Will not Advance:

Latvia Aminata “Love Injected”

San Marino Michele Perniola & Anita Simoncini “Chain of Lights”

Montenegro  Knez “Adio” Goodbye

Portugal Leonor Andrade “Há um mar que nos separa”

Czech Republic Marta Jandová & Václav Noid Bárta “Hope Never Dies”

Cyprus John Karayiannis “One Thing I Should Have Done”

Poland Monika Kuszyńska “In the Name of Love”
