Tonight sees the first of the Eurovision Semi Finals take place in Vienna’s Stadhalle Arena. As we gear up to go see it somewhere in Berlin, I thought it only appropriate to weigh in and say who I think will make it through to the final. Read on to find out my predictions.
Please note that the predictions below are not who I think should go through or which songs are necessarily the best song, but rather are the ones who I feel will be most popular with the national juries and the viewing public. For instance I love the Hungarian entry but feel as though it may be quite unpalatable for most of the viewers at home. Similarly while Denmark’s entry is one of my most despised songs this year, I feel that it will do well enough with the juries to see it progress to the final.
