UK Eurovision hopefuls Electro Velvet have taken to the Graham Norton Show stage to promote their song for the 2015 Contest. The duo made up of Alex Larke and Bianca Nicholas sang ‘Still In Love With You’ an electro swing song on the chat show on Friday night, giving us a first glimpse at how the song may be staged when they perform it in a fortnight in the live final in Vienna.
The pair recreate the official video for the song with throwback references to the 1920s music scene with retro microphone stands, feather boas and their weird neon lighting in the background. The song debuted on the BBC Red Button Channel in March, unveiled by Scott Mills and was met with immediate derision from the British public. Many UK Eurovision fans took to social media to voice their apprehension about the song’s chances and their annoyance that the BBC don’t allow the public any say in the choice.
Graham Norton has recently spoken out about this saying that he is hopeful for the UK’s chances this year. The Irish Eurovision commentator has said that ‘…the great thing about Eurovision is you can never second guess it.’
