Following last night’s first semi final there has been huge alterations in the bookies betting odds. Sweden are now the firm favourites at an outstanding 11/4. Armenia’s song ‘Not Alone’ which was number one favourite for months has slipped following Aram MP3’s performance last night from 9/4 to 4/1.
Other big gains in the betting odds include the Netherlands’ Common Linnets. Their song ‘Calm Before the Storm’ had been lagging with the bookies touting it between 66/1 and 100/1, now however they are the hottest piece of Eurovision property and have slashed the odds to 8/1 and are now third favourite to win.
The United Kingdom’s Molly and her song ‘Children of the Universe’ are also doing better odds wise. As the final approaches in a few days time she is 9/1 with the bookies.
